1932 Ford Deluxe Coupe
All original STEEL body - no fiberglass reproduction body parts. Body, doors, fenders, grill, grill shell, hood, side panels, gravel guard and frame horns.
Body by Murray Body Corp, Detroit. Body S/N 10261 Body Model B520B (second "B" indicates trunk model. Original Murray ID tag is still attached. Original engine and VIN: 149647 - is stamped on the left frame rail in three places. In 1996, the state of Texas added "18" to the beginning of the VIN (due to population growth) with the "18" indicating that the car was originally manufactured with a V-8 engine. Original manufacture date: August, 1932.
1990 - 2000 Restoration Detail
Body off restoration with original "C" frame has been boxed for strength
Engine: 1969 Chevrolet 350 CSB, bored .040 for clean up
Transmission: GM 700RH with overdrive and all shifters - vacuum shifter
Rear End: 1965 Ford Fairlane 10/35 ring and pinion
Steering: Chevrolet Vega by Borgeson
Custom made drive shaft
Rear coil over springs
Air Conditioning
Power windows
New upholstery with custom made African Zebra Wood Instrument, switch and A?C panels, door and window escutcheons, headliner bows and other accessory accents.
Numerous additional parts are available including, grill shells and grill bars, top hood/side panels, chrome headlights, etc.
